Jason is an east coast based creative director and cinematographer. With 15+ years of experience in broadcast journalism, photography and video production, he specializes in crafting compelling narratives for pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare brands.

Background

A DMV native, Jason holds a BA from Virginia Commonwealth University (2013) and spent his formative years in Cambridgeshire, England. His passion for visual media was cultivated through family—his uncle Don Hicks (Connecticut based portrait photographer) and sister Christina Hicks (Forbes-recognized Instagram portrait photographer) both exemplified excellence in their craft.

Experience

Jason currently serves as Senior Director of Media Production at Snow Companies in Virginia, an Omnicom pharmaceutical marketing agency. His career spans broadcast journalism (WTVR CBS-6, Emmy and Murrow Award-winning work), aerial cinematography, corporate video production, real estate, and enterprise media infrastructure management.

Recognition

Five Regional Emmy Awards, two Edward R. Murrow Awards, Numerous National Press Photographers Association Awards and FAA Part 107 commercial drone certification.
